Hypnosis is a client-centered therapy with its focus on the discovery and treating the origin of a person’s issues not the symptoms. Through the process of hypnotherapy the subconscious mind goes to the original cause, which then gives the client and hypnotherapist the opportunity to process the original feelings surrounding the original experience/cause. Once those surrounding feelings are healed, the client is empowered to live the life she/he always wanted to live.
YES, Hypnosis is officially recognized by: American Psychological Association American Medical Association British Medical Association
Hypnotherapy is the art of utilizing this state to illicit positive change and improvement in behaviors and physical conditions
A medical hypnotherapist has extensive training in the medical applications of hypnosis and writing hypnosis programs to effectively compliment standard medical procedures being used. Medical hypnotherapists often work closely with doctors & dentists to formulate specific programs to meet patient’s needs.
Hypnosis is in between being wide-awake and asleep. You are aware of everything being said yet you are relaxed at the same time. Did you ever wake up in the morning before your alarm clock rings? You could get up if you had to, and yet you are feeling so mellow, so comfortable that you just want to enjoy relaxing for a while. We pass through that level upon awakening and then again at night before we go to sleep. It has been said that 15 minutes of hypnosis is equivalent to a 3-hour nap. After the hypnosis you will feel refreshed and comfortable.
Another common example of this naturally occurring state of mind is when you are driving down the road, with your mind focused on some other task (a day dream perhaps), and next thing you know, you have passed your next turn. So now you know you can be hypnotized. You have done it literally thousands of times. You did it yourself when you were daydreaming and missed that turn, you have been hypnotized when you enjoyed a television program, and you have followed hypnotic and posthypnotic suggestions when you preferred some brand name that you saw repeatedly on television. Almost everyone can be hypnotized if they choose to.
Hypnosis is an effective process to bypass the conscious mind and communicate directly with the subconscious mind. Like a computer, the conscious is programmed by the thoughts of our subconscious mind. Hypnosis is the key that opens the door to our subconscious mind, promoting a state of heightened awareness and suggestibility.
A skillful, certified hypnotherapist can help you change your negatives into positives and improve attitudes, habits, and self defeating thoughts. With hypnotherapy you can take charge of your life, relieve stress, develop creativity, improve in sports, overcome fears and phobias, improve study habits and alleviate anxiety.
Self-hypnosis is achieving a trance state without the assistance of a hypnotherapist. Reputable therapists recommend patients practice their hypnosis between sessions. Many people find it useful to have a trained hypnotherapist teach give them suggestions so they can focus their mind on just listening
There are only four groups of people who cannot be hypnotized:
1. Very young children.
2. If you are under the influence of alcohol.
3. People who are severally mentally challenged.
4. Those who don’t want to be.
Hypnosis continues to show great results in weight loss, stop smoking, reducing pain, stress, anxiety, managing anger issues, improving memory, concentration and many other issues. Hypnotherapy has quickly become the choice of many. It can enable you to change your life so you can experience a better way of living.
Women in our culture have been hypnotized into believing that childbirth is a painful experience, even that it is the most excruciating experience of our lives. When I say hypnotized I mean that very literally. Since we were tiny children we were told stories that delivering a baby is agonizing ripping and tearing and hours upon hours of hard labor pains. These lies have been passed down from generation to generation until everyone just assumed it was a fact of life. Women experience pain during a normal childbirth because they were programmed to, because that is what their mind expected.
The truth is: having a baby is a wonderful natural experience. Nature never designed our bodies to experience pain during childbirth. But the tremendous fear and anticipation of pain makes us tighten up and resist delivering the baby, and that is painful.
If a woman delivers a baby expecting that it will be a relaxed, loving, gentle and beautiful experience, that’s exactly what she experiences! With hypnosis we can reprogram a woman’s fear beliefs into beliefs that her delivery will be comfortable and enjoyable, the way it was meant to be. In addition, we teach the woman how to go into self-hypnosis instantly and have mental anesthesia wherever she wants. And she’ll have this skill for the rest of her life!
Mental anesthesia is much more preferable to chemical anesthesia which can be dangerous for both the mother and child. With total control over her body the woman can be an active participant in her birth process, enjoying every minute and sending her baby love throughout the experience. Instead of hours of hard painful labor, most women have gentle contractions and deliver their babies in less than 90 minutes with hypnosis. Babies born this way have been shown to be happier, cry less, and have higher ICQ’s.
What a wonderful gift a mother can give to both herself and her baby. If you are planning or due to have a baby, you may consider spending the money that would have gone to drugs for anesthesia on hypnosis instead.

Whatever your mind can conceive and believe the mind can achieve regardless of how many times you may have failed in the past. ~ Napoleon Hill
Self-hypnosis has a wide variety of therapeutic applications. In particular, it is very effective in the alleviation of stress and tension, in helping to regulate sleeping patterns and when focusing on goals. Self-hypnosis is the ability to focus your energy on creating a self induced relaxed state of mind and body. When you are in a trance state you can focus your energy on a specific goal or simply quieten your mind and go into a state of deep mental and physical relaxation.
Just 5 minutes or more of Self Hypnosis each day is an excellent way to control anxiety and reduce stress. Besides helping you relax … It is especially useful in helping you establish positive attitudes and coping skills that you can use on a daily basis. Many people report that they sleep much better and feel more refreshed and better able to cope with the day.
Self Hypnosis can be used as meditation, to still the mind prior to prayer or for deep relaxation.
Edison entered this level of deep relaxation in-between being awake and asleep to get his creativity flowing.
Affirmations are better accepted at a sub-conscious level
Many people find great benefit is using it as a mid day power nap.
Self-hypnosis can help laboring women alleviate their pain. Dr. Joseph DeLee, an obstetrician, stated in the early 20th century that hypnosis was the only risk-free childbirth anesthetic.
Many people use Self-hypnosis to make changes faster; overcome addictions, to be more successful; think more positively; easily embrace changes; supercharge confidence; to be more prosperous.
Many people feel as if they are just drifting along in life – continuing to work hard but not really getting anywhere. One main reason for this is because most people don’t spend nearly enough time thinking about what they want from life and haven’t set themselves any goals to look forward to in the future.

Why to do a Past Life Regression?
Through my experience, I have found that Past Life Regressions are particularly valuable when dealing with issues that have no “rational” cause. I find regressions are particularly helpful in solving problems with all kind of relationship; be it with partners, parents and family members because of the tendency to continue to share life lessons and experiences with these primary people.
I have also noticed that people with phobias tend to do well with Past Life Regressions. Fear of heights, fear of flying, fear of water, etc. all seem to have roots in Past Life Traumas and I have found that this modality is especially effective in these cases.
There is also remarkable evidence that chronic somatic illnesses can be relieved and often times cured through the use of Past Life Regressions. Our bodies are a reflection of our conscious and unconscious mind. As a result, certain traumas that occur in a previous life can manifest physical symptoms in this life.
